Tweed Heads, NSW, Australia.
Half Day Tour, 10am – 1pm

Arrive 10am at Minjungbal Cultural Centre where you will be greeted
by an Elder of the Bundjalung Nation with a traditional welcome.
Enjoy Billy tea and damper for morning tea before undertaking a
guided tour of the comprehensive and amazing museum.
Learn from the
detailed exhibits and videos how the Minjungbal people lived in what
was a virtual paradise – which food they ate, how they hunted and
fished, how they made and used tools, weapons and bark canoes.
The group will then be taken on a guided tour of the Bora Ring, a
sacred ceremonial site which was once used for the ritual tribal
initiation of young boys into manhood.
Experience the natural beauty of the area along the Nature Walk
where you might spot a Koala or watch Ibis and Kingfishers in their
native environment or safely observe the unique ecology of mangroves
at close range.
Finally end the half day tour with a bush tucker lunch.
