    Arrive at Minjungbal Cultural Centre where you are greeted by an Elder of the Bundjalung nation with a traditional welcome.

    Enjoy Billy tea and damper for morning tea before undertaking a guided tour of the comprehensive and amazing museum.

    Dolphins by Rosie Vesper-Yeagl, Yamba Learn from the detailed exhibits and videos how the Minjungbal people lived in what was a virtual paradise – which food they ate, how they hunted and fished, how they made and used tools, weapons and bark canoes.

    The group will then be taken on a guided tour of the Bora Ring, a sacred ceremonial site which was once used for the ritual tribal initiation of young boys into manhood.

    Experience the natural beauty of the area along our Nature Walk where you can spot a koala or watch Ibis and Kingfishers in their native environment or safely observe the unique ecology of mangroves at close range.

    Enjoy a buffet lunch of bush food such as Roo Kebabs, Pippi Curry and
    fresh fish.

    Turtle shells by Carmel Charlton, Maclean The group will then take a quick journey to Mullumbimby Park where a Madhima Gulgan Elder will offer a traditional welcome to this part of the Bundjalung Nation. The tour follows heritage trails and you will visit waterfalls, creeks and beaches. Mt Chinocogan is in the centre of this lush and fertile valley.

    Travel to North Head to undertake a bush food walk where the guide will show the many types of native foods and medicines used by the Madhima Gulgan people.

    After taking in the spectacular views at the beach the bus will return to Tweed Heads.
